Senior Association Manager, AMCA Europe (Consultant)

We are seeking an experienced industry professional based in the European Union to collaborate with our engagement team to develop and execute membership growth plans by presenting AMCA offerings to potential new members. You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with our current members to ensure membership needs are addressed, to expand participation in our Certified Ratings Program (CRP), and to secure new business opportunities. You will collaborate with our advocacy, education, and communications teams to provide support on key issues facing our members within the European Region.
Depending on the regional needs, other duties could include development of relationships among regulatory and non-regulatory stakeholders external to AMCA, including government agencies, other manufacturer associations, professional societies, and practitioners such as architects, specifiers, engineers, and academics.
Your main focus will be:
- Primary contact for members within assigned Region(s).
- Liaison for the European Regional Steering Committee (including meeting notices, agenda preparation, and minutes) within assigned Region(s).
- Collaborate cross-functionally within association (domestically and internationally) to identify membership opportunities that enhance overall recruitment, membership engagement, and value of AMCA to members.
- Assist with on-boarding of new members within the European Region, handling new membership inquiries, directing initial prospect meetings, and conducting site visits.
- Represent AMCA at industry trade shows and events including setting up and maintaining presence in a booth or walking the tradeshow floor if AMCA does not have a booth presence.
- Presentations and marketing to active members, engineering firms, and industry associations/chapters
- Initiate and conduct face-to-face meetings with regulators and industry stakeholders effectively representing AMCA consensus positions in all arenas.
- Strengthen AMCA’s public profile through effective marketing and communication measures.
- Professional experience in relationship development with a good knowledge of the manufacturing industry and network in the region. HVAC sector experience a plus.
- Strong business development experience and negotiation skills. Consultative mindset and ability to anticipate client needs.
- Bachelor’s degree, or suitable work/leadership experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ business experience.
- Strong marketing, analytical, problem solving and technical skills are required.
