Job Function
  • Laboratory Technicians are responsible for performing tests on fans, louvers, dampers and other HVAC related equipment. 
  • Capable of operating and maintaining test equipment.
  • Provides feedback to laboratory management and engineering staff regarding laboratory procedures and testing issues.
  • May initiate recommendations for new equipment designs and recommends solutions to issues observed during testing.
  • May evaluate test results and report opinions and interpretations.
Education and Experience
  • Two years related experience a plus
  • Effective communication skills and ability to interact with members
  • Desire to work in a team-oriented environment
  • HVAC experience preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • The work environment is typical of an industrial laboratory or warehouse.
  • The job may be physically demanding at times, with extended periods of standing.
  • You must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • There may be elevated noise levels at times.
  • You will be required to operate a forklift, powered pallet jack or scissor lift but will train.
